Salesforce.com Architect
Key Responsibilities for this position
- Own Merger & Acquisition projects and deliver ahead of a transition service agreements.
- Be accountable for the management of Salesforce.com Sales (HVS), Service & Marketing clouds along with external communities and knowledgebase.
- Building relationships with teams within the matrix environment and beyond:
- Partner with the business leadership teams, delivery teams and the Salesforce experts to discover new functionalities to implement.
- Discuss regularly with global leadership teams to understand their needs and how they can be translated into new features of the system.
- Collaborate with external partners such as Salesforce on the future product roadmap and solutions.
- Lead and guide the development teams, solve problems and implement suitable solutions in a timely manner.
- Manage and communicate the Salesforce.com releases along with the AppExchange packages.
- Wear several hats and demonstrate Salesforce experience as an Architect, Product Manager, Product Owner, and developer.
- Maintain a customer service mentality approach and promote a collaborative, transparent working environment within the team.
- Improve business productivity, efficiency, and performance through critical evaluation of information gathered from various sources.
- Maintain the Salesforce security model (roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets) and the Salesforce implementation adheres to corporate security standards.
Desired skills, knowledge and qualifications:
- BS/BE/B.Tech/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related area and/or 5+ years of relevant IT experience in Salesforce.com
- Strong functional and technical leadership skills, interpersonal skills, in order to achieve great results in a collaborative team environment.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce out of the box functionalities and Apps (Salesforce for Outlook, Lightning Sync, Einstein Activity Capture, Chatbots, Knowledgebase etc.).
- Ability to deliver projects with high attention to detail.
Preferred skills, knowledge and qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with configuring and administering the Salesforce instance.
- Salesforce certifications (Admin/App Builder/Developer/Sales, Service Cloud) and Agile certification.
- Knowledge on 6 Sigma, quality standards, GDPR standards.
- Technical familiarity with Oracle CPQ, Business Objects Datawarehouse, SAP, and MuleSoft.
