Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on layout, color, style, and accessories for residential and business customers.
- Sell specialized home furnishing solutions like kitchens, baths, and storage systems.
- Create relationships with customers to identify needs and provide support.
- Apply measurement techniques and understanding of planning, design, and construction.
- Drive repeat visitation by ensuring the sales team is customer-centric.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and/or closing duties.
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment, managing escalated customer issues and emergencies.
- Partner with Safety & Security to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Ensure implementation of working routines and competence development.
- Perform goods flow and customer handout operations efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous retail selling experience.
- Experience in a consultative sales environment.
- Experience leading change initiatives and building new programs in a retail space.
- Basic measurement techniques.
- Understanding of planning, design, and construction.
- Knowledge of the IKEA product range, local markets, and customer needs.
