Sales Executive, India
About the Role
The Sales Executive, India is responsible for renewal and new business development for the Legal Media Group print and digital media titles within India. The Sales Executive, India will focus on developing new accounts, managing and upselling existing customers, and accelerating our Legal Media Group media titles business in India. The responsibilities include and is not limited to identifying potential new customers, cold calling, conducting face to face meetings/ video conferencing, providing product demonstrations, negotiating and closing contracts. This role will be expected to travel within India.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Identify Prospects: Actively prospect and identify potential clients and advertising/content solutions opportunities through in-person email/ cold calling / social media/ linkedIn etc.
- Develop Sales Strategies: Formulate effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and maximize advertising/content sales opportunities, considering market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
- Build Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and advertising agencies by providing excellent customer service, understanding client objectives, and offering tailored advertising solutions to meet their marketing goals.
- Collaborate and work closely with internal publishing and event teams to deliver a strong customer experience
- Monitor the advertising and sponsorship of competitive publications or websites
- Ensure Salesforce.com is updated with client data (prospecting, opportunities, etc.)
KEY DELIVERABLES -
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed product and individual sales targets by effectively selling advertising and content solutions for the print and digital media titles
- New Client Acquisition: Bringing in of new clients and logos to the Legal Media Group
- Strong pipeline management, good sense of business acumen and a good understanding of the advertising and sponsorship cycles
- High customer satisfaction and customer service: Ensure successful execution of advertising / content solution campaigns by collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation, monitoring campaign performance, analyzing key metrics, and making data-driven recommendations for optimizing campaign effectiveness and delivering measurable results for clients.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Sales Executive, India if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in advertising/sponsorship sales or related field.
- Strong understanding of advertising/sponsorship principles and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (eg. Salesforce).
