IKEA is seeking a part-time Retail Warehouse Associate in College Park, Maryland, to contribute to customer order fulfillment through efficient product availability and replenishment. This on-site role involves receiving goods, moving products, sales floor replenishment, and preparing customer orders using scanner equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels.
  • Ensure efficient product availability and replenishment.
  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Move product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor).
  • Perform sales space replenishment according to visual merchandising guidance.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders within the agreed timeframe.
  • Handle goods including unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking, picking, and loading.
  • Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
  • Certify all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
  • Ability to perform physical demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (up to 50lbs).
  • Open availability Monday through Sunday.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.
