Emerson is seeking a Renewable Proposal Engineer in Noida, India. This hybrid role involves planning and preparing proposals for Ovation DCS and SCADA solutions, collaborating with sales, and ensuring cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate has a B.Tech/B.E. degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare proposals on Ovation DCS, Ovation Green SCADA Package solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team to understand and incorporate customer requirements in the Proposal.
  • Conduct plant walk-down surveys to identify challenges for retrofits.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors for techno commercial offers.
  • Ensure cost-effective solutions are developed and proposed.
  • Conduct techno-commercial reviews/meetings with customers for key projects.
  • Obtain best quotes from vendors and Emerson SCM teams for Non DCS-Non Emerson items.
  • Document all records properly in line with Department Quality Procedures.
  • Support a team concept to share expertise and level of workload.
  • Develop expertise in a specific functional area and working knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Use online costing tool EET for preparation of costing and budgets.

Requirements

  • B.Tech/B.E is essential with 5-8 years of DCS/Power Plant / Renewable Power Instrumentation/Proposals experience.
  • Knowledge of Hardware and Software functions of DCS / SCADA systems.
  • Experience leading the project or managing project-related tasks, interaction with customers (internal and external).
  • Good communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in Proposals or Operations / Maintenance of Renewable Power Plants.
