In short

This role is responsible for overall facility and administrative activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks per PPM schedule. The position involves maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyors with automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD), as well as power distribution systems and electrical works. The engineer will also handle minor civil and plumbing maintenance, soft services, and provide daily reports.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly technical checks per PPM schedule.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors involving automation (PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, sensors, control cabinets).
  • Attend TT calls for corrective maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty/AMC.
  • Perform DG maintenance.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components (photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, encoders).
  • Support production in a safe, customer-focused manner.
  • Perform minor refurbishment and upgrade work for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, and fixed furniture.
  • Conduct regular checks of Fire Alarm & Fire extinguishers.
  • Maintain, oil, and grease carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
  • Attend to regular electrical works.
  • Issue height work and hot work permits.
  • Handle minor Civil & Plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
  • Provide daily reports on TT closures, open cases, and RCA.
  • Manage soft services activities including pest control, housekeeping, and scrap/garbage disposal.
  • Handle agency staff and overall shift operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls.
  • 1+ years of experience in conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance.
