Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Testing Intern to join our team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Qala i Naw, Badghis, Afghanistan, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance. As a QA Testing Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to the delivery of exceptional products.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
• Document test results and report issues using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve identified bugs.
• Participate in regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce new issues.
• Assist in performance testing to evaluate software responsiveness and stability.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies

• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques.
• Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium is a plus.
• Experience with bug tracking systems like JIRA is preferred.
• Ability to create and execute test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
