ABB Skien is now looking for 2 new Project Managers to join our team!

As a Project Manager your main responsibility is to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment to minimize labour hours, in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.  

Key responsibilities: 

  • Run complete Industrialization Projects or part of this (POF) 

  • Create drive for implementation of new or revised solutions in the factory 

  • Be responsible for, and follow up Pre-Series and Pilot Production 

  • Contribute as Project Leader for both POF and Improvement projects 

  • Follow the Project development from Release of Ramp-up to Normal Productivity is established

 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree or course within the project management field. Relevant experience within project management can compensate 

  • Degree or experience within Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineering or similar 

  • Relevant work experience. Product knowledge may compensate for lack of formal education 

  • Good computer literacy (MS Office, Office 365, PDM systems). Knowledge from SAP will be an advantage 

  • Commitment to quality and speed as well as interest in continuous improvement for the production processes 

  • Academic level English and Norwegian
