About this opportunity:
As a Project Finance Accountant (PFA), you will support and execute customer projects from a financial perspective, working at the intersection of SAP structuring and set-up, order validation and booking, PoD-based revenue and cost recognition, accounting quality & compliance, and SAP closure.
We operate at the core of delivery, connecting finance, operations, and customer execution, safeguarding financial integrity while enabling business performance.
What you will do:
Set up and maintain project financial structures (FAS) in SAP aligned with approved contracts.
Maintain revenue and billing milestones, project budgets, and planned costs.
Perform customer invoicing (including credit/debit notes) and revenue recognition based on Proof of Delivery.
Ensure correct revenue and cost recognition and clean closure of project objects in SAP.
Act as a financial partner to project teams, aligning operational execution, financial performance, and compliance.
Safeguard data integrity in SAP, identify revenue leakage and compliance gaps, and support internal/external audits.
Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and digital initiatives (SAP enhancements, AI tools) across O2C and project finance.
Depending on your level of experience you will:
- Execute accounting and SAP activities.
- Analize possible solutions to standard problems using existing procedures and precedents.
The skills you bring:
Experience in Finance, Project Controlling or Accounting.
Understanding of revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and the O2C lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP / S/4HANA).
Strong analytical and financial mindset, able to work across multiple projects.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
Advanced English (additional languages are a plus).
