Responsibilities
- Manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and develop/monitor detailed schedules.
- Supervise project teams and lead the implementation of necessary changes and improvements.
- Manage client interfaces and ensure effective communication.
- Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and improvements.
- Oversee project launches and manage necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and protect Alstom’s legal rights.
- Allocate and monitor project budgets and provide internal status and financial performance reporting.
- Lead core project team members and optimize their efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Customer Director/Platform to identify additional opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience (20+ years) in project management or a related industry.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory).
- Experience in the transportation industry, ideally in rolling stock.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and work in a collaborative environment.
Desired Qualifications
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification – a plus.
