Emerson is looking for an Operations Professional to join as a Production Supervisor for 3rd Shift in Brenham, TX. This role is responsible for achieving group objectives in safety, quality, continuous improvement, schedule, cost, and training within assigned manufacturing work areas.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a safe work environment and protect company property.
- Plan daily work assignments and employee rotations to meet objectives.
- Share responsibility for safety, product quality, and schedules with direct reports.
- Participate in the hiring and selection process, including interviewing candidates.
- Maintain and support ongoing training programs, and participate in the development of new training.
- Communicate regularly with employees about business conditions, goals, and company policies.
- Coordinate and support company policies, procedures, and guidelines fairly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of two (2) years of related supervisory experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with CNC machining processes, including lathes, mills, or programming
- Understanding of Lean principles
