Spotify's Legal team is looking for a Product & Regulatory Operations Manager to lead the operational backbone of the company's global approach to digital-platform regulation. This role involves managing workflows, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure compliance with various global laws, while also owning day-to-day machinery like document management and regulatory monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve document management for the product and regulatory team, including organizing compliance records and maintaining filing systems.
- Build and maintain regulatory monitoring practices, tracking legislative developments and managing regulatory calendars.
- Manage terms-of-service and policy update processes end-to-end, coordinating reviews, approvals, and publication.
- Project-manage special projects and cross-functional initiatives for the Product & Regulatory Legal team.
- Support responses to regulatory requests for information (RFIs) and audits.
- Develop and maintain internal playbooks, process documentation, and communications.
- Coordinate with Product, Trust & Safety, and Engineering to keep operational controls and reporting processes on track.
- Identify operational gaps and drive continuous improvement in regulatory workload management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or legal operations in a tech, digital-platform, or media environment.
- Proven project management skills to juggle deadlines, align stakeholders, and drive programs to completion.
- Excellent communication skills for briefing stakeholders and keeping partners on track.
- Resourcefulness and ability to figure things out and build processes independently.
- Skill in document management, knowledge organization, and building operational infrastructure.
- Comfort working across global time zones and cultures in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Notion, or similar).
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with online-platform regulation (DMA, DSA, UK OSA, AUS OSA, COPPA) is a plus but not required.
