Alfa Laval is seeking a Product Compliance Manager in Søborg to ensure their membrane products meet all relevant regulatory, legal, and industry requirements across global markets. This role involves developing compliance strategies, monitoring legislation, coordinating testing, and managing compliance documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance strategies for new and existing products.
- Monitor legislation, standards, and regulatory developments and assess their impact on membrane products.
- Identify compliance risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
- Coordinate product testing, certification, and approval activities.
- Prepare, review, and maintain compliance documentation, including certificates, declarations, and technical files.
- Ensure products meet the requirements needed to enter and remain in target markets.
- Provide guidance and support to teams on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Work with regulatory authorities, third-party laboratories, certification bodies, and customers.
- Lead compliance-related projects and initiatives to strengthen processes and ways of working.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field, preferably within a regulated industry such as food or pharma.
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with product testing, certification, and approval processes across different markets.
- Experience managing compliance-related projects and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience and knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks such as Food Contact Material Regulations (EU, USA, China, Japan), REACH, USDA, CE, RoHS, and cyber security requirements.
- Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Desired Qualifications
- A PhD is an advantage.
- Knowledge in pharma requirements is a plus.
- Experience within the membrane industry is an advantage.
