We are seeking a motivated Presales Engineer Intern to join our Customer Support Presales and Business Development team. This role involves learning how technical solutions address customer needs and business outcomes, working with experienced presales engineers and account teams on customer discovery, solution demonstrations, and opportunity development. You will gain practical exposure to the presales process and build technical, communication, and business skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and delivery of product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution overviews.
- Translate customer needs and business challenges into clear technical solution concepts.
- Participate in customer discovery sessions and help capture requirements.
- Collaborate with presales engineers, solution architects, product specialists, and account teams.
- Research products, technologies, industries, and customer environments.
- Create presentation materials, demonstration flows, solution summaries, and other presales content.
- Tailor technical messaging for different audiences.
- Support the coordination and preparation of customer meetings, workshops, and solution briefings.
- Learn from feedback and continuously improve demonstrations and presentations.
Requirements
- Curiosity about technology, customers, and how technical solutions solve business challenges.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to organize information, manage priorities, and follow through on commitments.
- Interest in customer-facing technical roles, solution architecture, business development, or technology consulting.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly.
- Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2.7+ GPA or equivalent.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op.
- Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks.
