Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by developing relationships with new Manufacturing OEM and system builder customers.
  • Expand opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Identify and pursue market share growth through strategic account management, customer engagement, and targeted business development initiatives.
  • Lead the sales strategy and market development efforts for Gasketed, Brazed, and Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers.
  • Foster customer satisfaction and leverage data-driven insights to support business decisions and organizational growth.
  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services.
  • Analyze and understand market insights and customer buying behavior to make sales plans.
  • Manage leads from the market and customers and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Make visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, focusing on understanding customer needs and highlighting product/service value.
  • Manage the customer grid and proactively plan in tools.
  • Develop value quotes reflecting customer needs, stressing unique selling points, and follow up.
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools consistently and qualitatively to support the sales process and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • 3+ years of overall sales, engineering, or business development experience.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration applications and market.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Prioritize candidates who reside in the US or have an established presence in the area.
