Qualcomm is looking for an ASIC Digital Design Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation memory subsystems. The role involves designing, optimizing, verifying, and documenting IP for high-performance products, working under supervision within the Engineering Group in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support defining, modeling, designing (digital and/or analog), optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting of IP (block/SoC) development.
- Assist in the creation of architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and/or system simulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop an implementation strategy.
- Support the evaluation of process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
- Utilize tools/applications (e.g., RTL to GDS Flow, Virtuoso) to execute architecture and design.
- Write technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ months of experience with architecture and design tools.
- 6+ months of experience with scripting tools and programming languages.
- 6+ months of experience with design verification methods.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
