Ericsson is seeking a New Grad Power Amplifier Developer in Chengdu, China, to design and develop high-power amplifier modules for radio products. This role requires a Master's degree or higher and experience in RF design and measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Define power amplifier solutions meeting performance, form-factor, cost, manufacturability, and delivery requirements.
  • Design and develop high-power amplifier modules and support their integration into radio products with digital pre-distortion techniques.
  • Model and characterize linear and non-linear circuit elements used in high-power RF power amplifier modules.
  • Use advanced CAD and simulation tools for modelling, analysis, layout and schematic generation for power amplifier modules.
  • Apply analytical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturability issues.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Wireless Communication or a related field.
  • Experience in power amplifier design, preferably in amplifier or transceiver design and verification for wireless applications.
  • Hands-on experience with RF instrumentation and measurement techniques.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with ADS, HFSS, Sonnet EM and/or Momentum is considered an advantage.
  • Experience in automating instrumentation and test routines using Matlab, LabVIEW or Python is considered an advantage.
