Amazon Corporate Network Automation Engineering is seeking a Network Systems Development Engineer to own automation for network deployment and management. Responsibilities
- Design and develop software systems that are secure, maintainable, scalable, and extendable.
- Work with internal customers and stakeholders to understand their pain points and requirements.
- Collaborate with Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products.
- Assist with designing and automating config generation and OS upgrade for thousands of networking devices.
- Own design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions through rapid iteration.
- Develop automation software in modern languages such as Python, Java, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Automate the deployment of network devices and gateways using infrastructure as code (CDK, Python).
Requirements
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
- Bachelor's degree.
Desired Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Python, software architecture.
- Good knowledge of AWS Products, DevOps patterns, and mature CICD processes.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
- Understanding of AWS services mainly networking products such as AWS VPC, Transit Gateways, ANF, NAT-Gateways, Cloudwatch, AWS Lambda.
