Meraki PCN Coordinator & Component Engineer

Meraki Supply Chain Operations team is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to provide Product Change Notification (PCN) coordinator support. You'll be responsible for Tracking Product Change Notifications from various suppliers & work with stakeholders to take appropriate measures. As a PCN coordinator, you will collaborate with Sourcing, Quality Control, Hardware Engineering team, Manufacturing partners & component suppliers to ensure PCNs are implemented smoothly.
High Level Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret Electrical & Electromechanical components data sheets and evaluate components for various product applications
- Monitor, identify and resolve lifecycle issues and assist teams to identify appropriate resources and substitutes for components.
- Work with Sourcing team & Material Management team to find solution obsolete components.
- Track Product Change Notifications (PCN) from various data source & work with stakeholders to take appropriate actions.
- Take ownership of tracking the status of PCNs in tools/trackers
- Manage communication with Sourcing, Quality Control, Hardware team and component suppliers for all PCNs & ensure the changes are tested & approved in a timely manner!
- Track all actions from PCN request to change approval with various collaborators & update the status to internal & external teams.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering with 2-3 years of related experience or Associate degree with 4-5 years of related experience
- Experience in Electrical/electronic & Electromechanical component engineering.
- Researching second source components by checking technical parameters & data sheets
- Experience in PDM tool & Engineering/Manufacturing Change Orders management
- Good analytical skills, decision-making and strong communication skills
