We are seeking a Mechanic in Ji'nan, CN, to perform assembly, disassembly, rebuilding, and inspection of machines and components. The role involves machine operation, testing, maintenance, and adhering to safety and environmental policies. A high school education or above with at least 3 years of experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly/disassembly, rebuilding, and inspection of machines/components according to instructions and drawings.
- Support machine and component testing.
- Operate construction machinery vehicles.
- Install and operate test equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance on construction vehicles and workshop tools/equipment.
- Maintain workshop 5S standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Have the authority to stop any work due to safety or environmental concerns.
- Ensure implementation of Volvo Group's Quality, Safety & Health, Environmental Policy and code of conduct.
- Assist workshop and EHS manager with EHS documents and management tasks.
Requirements
- Knowledge and skill in reading drawings and machine assembly.
- Familiarity with Wheel Loader and Excavator operation and driving.
- At least one license: welding, electrician, or forklift.
- Familiarity with problem-solving methods.
- Basic knowledge and skill in MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Mindset of safety and environmental care.
- Teamwork skills.
- High school or above education.
- Major in Mechanical Engineering, E&E, Computer Science, or Safety Management.
- Above 3 years of work experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and skill in welding, machining, or electrical technician work is a plus.
- Knowledge and skill in test equipment installation, software program operation, and rig driving is a plus.
- Basic English communication skills are a plus.
