Responsibilities
- Plan and manage production and non-production materials based on MRP, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
- Review, release, and adjust supply plans according to demand changes and inventory levels.
- Monitor material availability to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align material supply with production requirements.
- Maintain inventory levels in line with company targets and inventory turnover objectives.
- Identify and mitigate material shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving inventory.
- Follow up on supplier deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Coordinate shipment plans with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow.
- Support initiatives to reduce logistics costs and premium freight.
- Drive continuous improvement in supply planning and inventory control processes.
- Participate in material readiness reviews and engineering change implementation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Material Planner, Logistics Engineer, or similar supply chain role.
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems, inventory management, and supply planning processes.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Leadership skills and experience managing or coordinating teams.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English and French
