Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and balance costs with production needs.
- Oversee management of obsolete and slow-moving materials.
- Coordinate the introduction of new components.
- Support production planning with material availability information and risk assessment.
- Manage purchase orders for production materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate supply activities for timely delivery of materials.
- Proactively address delivery delays and supply issues.
- Drive process improvements in supply and inventory management.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on inventory, supply performance, and costs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering, Procurement, and Controlling teams.
- Prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Solve problems proactively regarding material shortages, disruptions, and quality issues.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, material planning, or a related area.
- Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Experience with MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
