Market Development Specialist
You will be working as Marketing Development Specialist and will be part of Motion Business Area for IEC LV Motors division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Market Development Manager and will be responsible for supporting the local division by focusing on defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies specifically aimed at developing into markets, segments or other strategic areas not currently defined. Ensuring the definition of the business plan, annual marketing plans and marketing strategies according to budget.
Your responsibilities
- Contributing to local business unit or product group strategy definition and executing through the analysis and identifying new markets, segments and product solutions
- Analyzing customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefits as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to penetrate the market. Developing and implementing business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the business unit or product group strategy
- Providing market intelligence analyses in support of identification and development of new markets, segments or solutions. Participating in internal work groups in order to share know-how, processes and market information
- Identifying, leading or contributing to identification and acquisition opportunities to expand into the newly defined area. Collaborating with all related internal contacts to ensure alignment, efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of the commercial strategy
- Coordinating product marketing launch development plans and ensuring efficient and effective execution together with the area and regional manager
- Identifying partnership opportunities and participating in the definition of partnerships agreements together with local business unit. Planning and implementing of customer events and trade shows
- Ensuring budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved in the respective countries and for all assigned product groups. Ensuring achievement of targets on orders, net price variance (NPV), net promoter score (NPS), etc
Your background
- B.E or B.tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in pre-sales, business development, marketing of industrial products preferably in LV motors
- Experience in stakeholder management and identifying the new business development opportunities as per market need
- Good communication and presentation skills
