This role provides safe, reliable maintenance support for plastics and fabrication operations, aiming to maintain equipment uptime and minimize production interruptions. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting work in a CMMS.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain 5S conditions in the work center.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain motors, drivers, controls, sensors, and electrical panels.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks per schedule and document all work in CMMS.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, shift handoffs, and repair history.
  • Support energy efficiency efforts and operational controls related to ISO 50001, 9001, 14001, and Green Spirit initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members and support departments to achieve up-time and performance goals.
  • Apply all requirements related to EMS, ISO9001/14001/50001/Green Spirit according to the position.

Requirements

  • Two (2) year degree, certificate, or diploma with a concentration in Electrical/Electronic Maintenance and or Industrial Systems preferred.
  • Seven or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting three-phase 480V systems, 24V control panels, motors, and PLCs.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC platforms.
  • Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with ISO 50001 energy systems and Significant Energy Uses (SEUs).
  • Support ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems compliance.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and document work thoroughly using a computerized maintenance system (CMMS).

Desired Qualifications

  • Five (5) years or more of injection molding experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting metal forming and stamping equipment.
  • Successful completion of Electrolux’s EMS, Yellow Gear, with the ability and drive to pursue the EMS Green Gear certification within the first one to two years of this role.
