Alstom is looking for an experienced Locomotive Maintenance Storekeeper in Belfort, France. The role involves managing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, and updating ERP systems for inventory management. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- Execute Information system updates & ERP transactions before each physical movement using IT tools.
- Manage system flow, detect and treat anomalies, and prioritize activities according to emergencies.
- Ensure the preservation of materials during all processes.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of processes.
- Perform goods receipt, storage, and scrap processing.
- Conduct inventory counts and follow procedures.
- Perform picking, kitting, and preparation of materials for the production line.
- Treat shipment requests, realize packing, and carry out logistical processing of NCRs.
- Work closely with quality and material planning teams to solve and close NCRs.
- Respect handling and storage rules in force.
Requirements
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to respect safety conditions for handling goods.
- Proficiency in using ERP transactions to align physical and system flows.
- Ability to detect, treat, and report system anomalies.
- Skills in preserving materials during handling, storage, and shipment.
- Experience with inventory counting procedures.
- Ability to perform picking and kitting activities on time.
- Knowledge of packing and shipping activities.
- Experience in carrying out the logistical processing of NCRs.
- Ability to track NCRs physically and in the system.
- Possession of required specific qualifications and driving license if applicable.
