We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Denton, TX, to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of industrial equipment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, performing routine inspections, and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment to minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on industrial machinery, including rotary machines, conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and hydraulic equipment.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce unplanned outages.
- Use diagnostic tools, manuals, blueprints, and technical resources to efficiently identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance procedures that enhance equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory, using a CMMS.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe work environment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with team members, vendors, and contractors for specialized repairs or technical support.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or process improvements.
- Support and train operators on basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, VFDs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues.
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of industrial safety regulations and procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
