Responsibilities
- Create and maintain station layouts, work balancing, and BIS configuration.
- Perform time studies (e.g., SAM analysis, cycle time, clock studies).
- Prepare and implement rebalances and process optimizations.
- Support the introduction of product and process changes during launch phases.
- Generate improvement opportunities and develop proposals.
- Conduct physical analysis and optimization of production workstations and logistic flows.
- Participate in Kaizen Workshops and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Transfer production information system data to the balancing system.
- Ensure communication with in-plant customers.
- Monitor and initiate actions on deviations related to Shop Engineering targets.
- Uphold standard processes, methods, and tools within Shop Engineering.
- Coach and mentor employees, leveraging expertise within the role.
Requirements
- University degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or equivalent technical engineering background.
- Several years of relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both Slovak and English.
- Analytical and results-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement.
- Experience with time studies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good Slovak communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience from running production in a car manufacturing Stamping Shop is highly meritorious.
- Experiences from other shops or other engineering roles are also meritorious.
- SAM certification is an advantage.
