Autoliv is seeking an Indirect Operations Buyer in Querétaro, Mexico, to act as the primary contact for indirect purchasing. This role involves negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting stakeholders throughout the procurement cycle. A degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering with 1-5 years of purchasing experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop local suppliers in relation to risk, quality, and cost.
  • Negotiate local and better commercial agreements.
  • Review purchase requisitions and identify sources of supply for spot buys.
  • Conduct market evaluations to review supplier competitiveness.
  • Carry out tenders promoting equal participation of suppliers, validate information and analyze proposals.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stages of the procurement cycle.

Requirements

  • International Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering Degree
  • Advanced English skills
  • Purchasing experience from 1- 5 years
