Responsibilities
- Steer and develop NAM IT and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Contribute to organizational development by scoping changes and creating execution plans.
- Undertake internal security assessments and facilitate action plan creation.
- Ensure applications meet security requirements set by legislators and Nordea Bank.
- Perform information security operational tasks and follow up on actions to ensure effectiveness of controls.
- Assist with the review and maintenance of existing Information Security controls and design new ones.
- Act as a key stakeholder with the main IT services supplier (Nordea Group IT).
- Support AI on-boarding.
- Work with internal and external auditors on information security audits.
- Conduct risk assessment activities and execute risk treatment plans.
- Manage vulnerability management and patching processes.
- Collaborate with application providers on access management.
- Review and approve security designs for new systems and projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business units to promote information security.
- Analyze and support the remediation of information security incidents.
Requirements
- Leadership experience to set direction and grow the team.
- Strong experience in Information Security domain with proven results in assessments and documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to report to senior management on security and governance topics.
- Good understanding of IT Governance and ability to implement it in the organization.
- Excellent communication and motivation skills, both spoken and written in English.
- Relevant Masters degree with good results.
- Great leadership skills, with the ability to develop a collaborative culture and be a sparring partner.
- 5+ years of experience leading an Information Security unit.
- Documented history of efficiently leading and delivering complex Security solutions.
- Structured and analytical mindset.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the financial industry is a merit.
- Ensure that the team as a whole is considered a professional unit and natural place to go for IT services.
- Ability to challenge status quo, in order to gain efficiencies.
