The Final Test Team Lead is responsible for directing the quality assurance team on the shop floor to meet daily quality targets, ensuring product quality standards are maintained. This role involves training team members, facilitating continuous improvement, and managing performance for direct staff.

Responsibilities

  • Executes the quality assurance plan by directing a team of quality inspectors, ensuring daily and weekly quality targets are met.
  • Drives a safety-first culture within the team and leads by example.
  • Facilitates training for the quality assurance team, providing supervision and guidance as required.
  • Communicates progress updates and manages troubleshooting across teams and functional areas.
  • Maintains an organized work area (5S) including workstations, equipment, and walkways.
  • Participates and contributes to continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency.
  • Maintains positive team morale with an open atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert for quality processes.
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Responsible for labor transaction maintenance functions for the team and Encompix on routing operations.
  • Responsible for the performance management cycle for all direct staff.
  • Respectfully takes direction from the Flow Team Manager Manager and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma minimum.
  • 3-5 years assembly experience required.
  • 1-3 years of lead or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
  • Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
  • Ability to lead and supervise a small group.
  • Good communication skills, ability to motivate and build team morale.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of Encompix and ERP systems beneficial.
