We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Samut Prakan, Thailand. The position involves performing maintenance and repairs on standard products at customer sites, investigating technical problems, and reporting on service execution. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Execute maintenance and minor repairs on standard products at customer sites.
- Investigate and resolve technical problems on standard products at customer sites.
- Prepare service jobs for efficient execution.
- Follow up on actions and promises made to customers.
- Write and obtain customer signature on service reports.
- Update service execution IT system with relevant information.
- Report unsafe practices, incidents, and work for continuous improvement.
- Capture Installed Base on site and communicate sales opportunities.
- Proactively recommend spare parts purchases to customers.
- Execute service in Service Centres if required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in repairing and maintenance services of industrial machinery/equipment.
- Strong analytical thinking and trouble shooting skills.
- Good command in English and Thai (written & spoken).
- Computer literate.
- Able to work overtime.
- Must be a hands-on person.
Desired Qualifications
- Having an electrical or automation background but liking to work with mechanical work is a plus.
- Having hands-on experience with heat exchangers, separators, or decanters is a plus.
