Edwards is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Tainan, Taiwan, to perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting for customers. Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, trouble shooting and field support in tsmc.
- Understand customers' requests and report to Field Service Team Leader.
- Work both as part of a team and on your own, self motivated and self disciplined with a customer sensitive approach.
- Respond to out of hours calls, ensuring a response time of 2 hours is maintained.
Requirements
- Experience in field service activities is an advantage.
- Experience of working with Computers with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Good command of both written and spoken English is an advantage.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, both electrical and mechanical, and schematic layouts is essential.
- Working in the areas of electro-mechanical assembly and fitting, electrical/PLC controls and electronics is a plus.
- A good understanding in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Inter-personal and communication skills required to build sound relationships with customers.
- Be a good team player.
- Positive attitude to work under pressure.
- Learning fast and be active.
