Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a sales territory, balancing customer engagement with strategic planning.
  • Prepare customer proposals, including pricing and commercial considerations.
  • Generate proposals for renewing, extending, or adapting existing contracts.
  • Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice to customers and prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service.
  • Accurately record customer visits, actions, and outcomes.
  • Deliver customer presentations to support sales and enhance the CTS brand.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across CTS and the wider group.
  • Monitor activity and provide clear, timely updates to management.
  • Attend sales meetings and follow up on agreed actions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • A technical background or qualification is beneficial, but not essential, if you bring strong sales experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience or knowledge of the compressed air industry is desirable, but not required.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the North West, with occasional travel to other UK locations.
  • Strong IT skills and an openness to learning new systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.

  • A technical background or qualification is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Experience or knowledge of the compressed air industry is desirable.
