Job description 

You will be working as Engineering Manager (Head - Engineering) and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Manager - Operations and will be responsible for collaborating with other business departments in sales, marketing, project management, operations, SCM and finance in order to execute various projects flawlessly and implementing the ongoing process improvements.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring that all integrity related policies and standards, HSE, cyber security policies and standards are strictly adhered to and followed
• Initiating, coordinating, driving and overseeing team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability
• Providing input to local product group or product line strategy and is a key player in its implementation and in strengthening a business model relevant to the scope of engineering
• Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools. Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements
• Coordinating with manufacturing and testing functions to ensure the technical solutions are appropriately manufactured or staged and tested
• Closely and timely coordinating with all internal and external stake holders with good level of collaboration on regular basis
• Building and maintaining customer relationships, seeking feedback and providing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and deliver improvements

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in design of MV switchgear system
• Strong experience in EPLAN Electric P8 and Propanel
• Experience in ERP SAP
• Good knowledge of power systems, protection and substation automation
• Strong experience in leading team of engineering function of MV AIS or GIS
• Strong knowledge and competency with good leadership skills
