In short

Ensure compliance with Ericsson and local EHS standards for field operations, including personnel, tools, and vehicles. This role focuses on proactive risk prevention and safety performance in telecom deployment and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of EHS experience, preferably in field operations, with a Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure all field staff hold valid and up-to-date safety certifications.
  • Maintain a centralized database of employee certifications and expiry dates.
  • Coordinate safety training and certification renewals.
  • Conduct periodic audits of field teams to verify compliance.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment used in the field are certified, inspected, and safe for use.
  • Maintain records of tool inspections, calibration, and certification.
  • Ensure all assigned vehicles meet safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Track vehicle documentation, driver compliance, and vehicle safety.
  • Perform regular site inspections and safety audits, identifying hazards and non-compliance issues.
  • Support internal and external audits and incident investigations.
  • Recommend and track closure of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote safety culture and awareness across operations.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in EHS, preferably in field operations (telecom, construction, or similar industries).
  • Experience managing compliance for personnel, tools, and vehicles.
  • EHS practical experience and strong knowledge (Telecom experience is advantage).
  • Computer literate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in GSM Field, EHS practice.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified EHS qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
  • Additional certifications (ISO 45001 Lead Auditor is a plus).
  • Accredited Qualification/Certification e.g. wireman’s license; computer programming/networking.
