Responsibilities
- Support the launch of new carriers and sites for 4G, 5G, CBRS, and small cells across top-tier operators in Canada, as well as regional carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
- Assist with C-band launches, including SSV drive testing and auditing activities.
- Monitor KPIs and help troubleshoot RF issues for new carrier and site deployments.
- Monitor KPIs and support resolution of RF issues associated with radio and baseband swaps.
- Contribute to on-time, on-budget project delivery with a focus on high customer satisfaction.
- Learn and grow through hands-on project work, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- A bachelor's (or preferred master's) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Typically up to 5 years of relevant experience (including internships, coursework, or professional experience in RF optimization or RAN performance).
- Foundational understanding of 4G/5G technologies.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn automation tools such as Python and Power BI.
- Developing understanding of RF KPIs, performance optimization, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to interpret site alarms and learn to determine corrective actions.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to support project status updates and technical insights with Project Managers, Integration Managers, Sales teams, Area Directors, and other stakeholders.
