Emerson is looking for a Drafter in Tianjin, China to create and maintain product documentation including 3D models, assemblies, and drawings. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain product documentation including 3D models, 3D assemblies, layouts, detail drawings, engineering masters and part numbers.
- Create customer drawings per customer spec and design output.
- Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance in design.
- Develop and obtain test parts and assemblies for prototype testing.
- Originating and/or investigating Engineering Change Request.
- Conduct design calculation and tolerance studies using manual or computer-aided tools.
- Creation and maintenance of drafting practices or standards that describe best practices.
Requirements
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals and their application.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Experience with CAD tools.
- Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and other industry codes and standards.
- MS Office.
- Written and spoken English.
