Alstom is seeking a full-time DMS Team Lead in Bangalore to design and implement a Maintenance Server Application. This role involves leading DMS engineers, managing technical and managerial support, and ensuring adherence to Alstom processes. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 8+ years of experience in deployment and technical interface roles, with sound technical knowledge in DMS technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the architecture for a Maintenance Server Application interfacing with multiple subsystems (ATC, IXL, ATS, DCS).
  • Work closely with Project Solution Architects, Project Engineering Managers, and Department Heads.
  • Guide DMS engineers with technical and managerial support.
  • Ensure alignment with Alstom processes and values.
  • Conduct technical training sessions and root cause analyses.
  • Contribute to optimizing costs through innovative ideas and methods.
  • Ensure adherence to Alstom rules, values (AIR), and processes.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting.
  • Deliver on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments.
  • Organize support for ATC and site teams in a timely manner.
  • Drive effective change management and requirement management processes.
  • Proactively communicate and resolve disputes.
  • Enable team members to realize their potential and grow within the organization.
  • Support tenders and optimize costs with innovative approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science).
  • 8+ years of experience in deployment and technical interface roles.
  • Sound technical knowledge in DMS (DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS, Linux, SQL, protocol, and network concepts).
  • Strong skills in change management and requirement management.
  • Clear communication and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Proficiency in English and any national language.
  • Experience with IT tools such as Microsoft Office, DevOps, Exsi, and SQL.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in team management (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Prior knowledge in signalling maintenance or relevant experience (advantageous).
  • Proficiency with tools related to change and requirement management (advantageous).
