Responsibilities
- Lead software engineering, quality assurance, development operations, and deployment teams, fostering innovation, accountability, and inclusion.
- Guide Agile Release Trains and multidisciplinary teams in developing and delivering Guardian software and solutions.
- Define and execute technical vision, strategy, architecture, and product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Drive organizational effectiveness through process enhancement, team capability building, and scalable automation practices.
- Establish clear priorities, objectives, and success measures, supporting engineering and Agile Release Train leadership.
- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Partner with global leaders, teams, and stakeholders to improve coordination, performance, and customer outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement with practical, scalable approaches to software development and delivery.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, development methodologies, and industry trends in software, firmware, cloud, and industrial automation.
- Strengthen software quality, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational resilience.
- Create an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are welcomed and team members are empowered.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software, firmware, or technology engineering organizations delivering complex products at scale.
- Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated leadership experience leading multiple development teams in software, cloud, hardware, or industrial technology environments.
- Knowledge of technologies, tools, and processes for developing, testing, deploying, securing, and maintaining software systems.
- Experience defining technical direction and translating needs into actionable technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Proven ability to build capable teams, develop talent, establish clear expectations, and drive organizational effectiveness.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Agile software development approaches like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, geographies, and time zones.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience applying the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar approaches.
- Knowledge of software architecture, embedded firmware development, development operations, and continuous integration/continuous delivery practices.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, or edge technologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, risk management, and compliance requirements for cloud-based or industrial software solutions.
- Experience developing products or solutions within industrial automation, distributed control systems, or similar technology domains.
- Experience improving engineering productivity, software quality, deployment reliability, or customer value through process optimization and automation initiatives.
