Volvo Trucks Korea is seeking a Digital & IT Manager to lead IT strategy, governance, cybersecurity, and digital execution, reporting to the CFO. This role connects business strategy with digital initiatives to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and data-driven decisions, managing core systems, infrastructure, and user support.
Responsibilities
- Develop Digital & IT strategy and roadmap aligned with business strategy.
- Manage IT investment portfolio, budget, contracts, KPIs, and risks.
- Oversee operations and improvement roadmaps for sales, production, dealer, and finance systems.
- Manage changes in local business systems, including requirements, vendor management, and testing.
- Improve productivity and customer value through data, automation, and generative AI.
- Collaborate with Group IT on network, server, endpoint, and collaboration tool availability.
- Operate ServiceNow processes for incident, request, problem, change, and asset lifecycle.
- Assess and mitigate cyber security and personal information risks.
- Lead responses to cybersecurity and data leakage incidents.
- Ensure compliance with Korean personal information protection laws and Volvo Group policies.
- Lead the Digital & IT team and foster a high-performance culture.
- Strengthen strategic collaboration among global IT, local management, and external partners.
- Manage annual IT budget, software asset management, procurement, and supplier contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in IT/Digital within a global mid-sized or large enterprise, including leadership and Project Manager experience.
- Broad hands-on experience across IT strategy, business systems, infrastructure and service operations, cyber security, and personal information protection.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and successfully leading large-scale change initiatives and projects in a global matrix organization.
- Fluency in Korean and strong business communication skills in English are required.
- Ability to prepare executive reports in English and lead global meetings and negotiations.
Desired Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, CPPG, or cloud-related certifications are preferred.
- Experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, distribution and service, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
