Responsibilities
- Perform annotation-related tasks in ML data processes (audio, image, video).
- Use internal tools and software provided by the team.
- Participate in data collection activities with provided scripts and instructions.
- Apply language skills, grammar knowledge, and linguistic rules for clear content.
- Perform quality audits and verification to maintain high internal quality.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Track and share queries related to annotation/data collection.
- Track daily task completion status and provide individual status reports.
- Adhere to confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Help test new SOPs and ML data tools.
- Provide feedback to streamline processes and improve consistency and quality.
- Offer remedial instruction in tool usage and other topics.
Requirements
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
- Background in linguistics, creative writing, computational linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and interpret data.
- Good familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and uses of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc.
- Flexibility and interest in performing repetitive tasks.
- High level of energy and proactive nature.
- Sense of ownership, drive, and willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
