As Development Manager, Inflators, you will lead the Inflator Product Development team, overseeing project execution, budget, and team development. Responsibilities

  • Propose and follow up team-level actions and continuous improvements.
  • Escalate and cascade information communication.
  • Follow-up indicators and report.
  • Adapt management style to individuals.
  • Ensure standard respect and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to good collaboration between teams and services.
  • Solve technical problems and design products.
  • Understand simulation and test capabilities, product assembly processes and component manufacturing processes.
  • Use and promote tools for design, quality, statistics, robustness, problem solving.
  • Use design project and standards like AES, preAPDS AS108, APDS AS100.
  • Respect customer specifications and regulations.
  • Understand customer system environment.
  • Use standard IT office software.
  • Use and make the team use product development specific software (e.g. PLM, Bluesky, UTS Viewer, GEO, Impart, tools released by simulation team and ecodesign team).
  • Use APS tools (5S,...).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Engineering background in mechanics and thermodynamics. Pyrotechnics would be appreciated.
  • 10-15 years of experience in product development, engineering, or automotive safety systems.
  • 5-10 years of experience leading technical teams and managing product development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Pyrotechnics experience would be appreciated.
