Developer II (Full Stack)
Job description
As a Full-Stack Developer in the NCUS team, you will be responsible for the development of mission critical applications, while working with a team of developers. This individual will build high performing, real-time middleware solutions in the extremely critical domains of FLIFO, Flight Operations, Irregular Operations and Operational Systems. You will play a large role in building microservices based real time messaging applications, used by operational and commercial systems across the company. Additionally, as a developer, you will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud based solutions. The individual will use leading edge technologies and enterprise grade integration software on a daily basis.
- Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
- Serve as technical expert on development projects
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
- Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
- Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
- Recognized as expert in field, knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices
- Conducts the most complex and vital work critical to the organization
- Works without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgment
- May mentor less experienced peers and display leadership as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience
- 4 + years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented systems design and application development using Agile Scrum methodology.
- Strong knowledge of React, NextJS, TypeScript, Python, AWS, Dynamo DB, SQL and Java.
- Proficiency in Software Development best practices such as - Continuous Integration, Unit/Integration testing, Code reviews
- 2 years of Java and Web Services development
- About 4 weeks of travel to US in a year may be needed
- Exhibit written and spoken English fluency.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer witout sponsorship.
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems
- Project experience in TIBCO technologies, Business Works, Business Events, Active Spaces, EMS
- Familiarity with native Cloud technologies/patterns (AWS/Azure), Docker containers and Container Orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Airline industry experience
