Job Description for Primary Technical Support Engineer (Power Products)

Key Responsibilities:

       Responsible to resolve, close and escalate customer’s technical queries by providing technical support in pre-sales (product selection, document requests, application information) and post-sales (product installation, troubleshooting, technical characteristics, technical complaints) support.

  • to customers on all  channels (ex: Toll free phone, email, chat, web) and prioritizing customer’s support needs
  • Creating and managing knowledgebase on validated solutions in the SE repository
  • Onsite intervention (Remote ) for solving critical issues over Toll free no 
  • Training delivery to Primary teams and customers as per the schedule.

Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering 
  • Minimum 3-7 years of hands-on experience in Projects, Services, Installation, and commissioning & troubleshooting of Industrial Power Products , PME PSO Software.
  • Field experience in ACB, MCB,MCCB , Star delta startes, DOL Starters, Meters and EMS Software.
  •  Field Experience in AVEVA software (specifically System Platform, Historian, InTouch, AVEVA Insight).
  • Knowledge of IIOT or Metering software and EMS of Schneider.
  • Programming language – IEC 611131-3 
  • Understanding of various Network/Data Communication such as OPC DA, OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU, Profibus, CAN open, RSTP, IEC61850, Modbus Plus, S908, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) and ability to interact with global customers.
  • Excellent problem solving and data analytical approach.
  • Excellent team player.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering 
  • LV Switchgear Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of low-voltage switchgear systems. This includes the selection of components, the coordination of systems, and the documentation of designs. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems with switchgear systems.
  • Field experience in ACB 
  • Field Experience in SE Product LTMR, DOL, Start Delta Starters , Contactors, MCB , MCCB, ACB , VCB, Metering products
  •  Field Experience in Substation Automation, Relaye and MV Transfomer
  • Understanding of various Network/Data Communication such as , Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU, Profibus, CAN open, RSTP, IEC61850, Modbus Plus, S908, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) and ability to interact with global customers.
  • Excellent problem solving and data analytical approach.
  • Excellent team player.
