Responsibilities

  • Lead technical teams in project implementation using IBM Infosphere DataStage Suite, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data processing and integration.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in IBM Infosphere DataStage Suite for ETL development.
  • Strong expertise in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL for database development and management.
  • Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting for automation and scheduling tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead technical discussions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of using Azure DevOps for build and deploy.
  • Familiarity with creating physical data models based on data model logic.
