Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Data Science Intern to join our team in Fayzabad, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. This is a full-time, on-site internship offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of data science. As a Data Science Intern, you will be immersed in analyzing complex datasets, extracting actionable insights, and contributing to the development of data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with experienced data scientists and cross-functional teams to build predictive models and solve real-world business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis.
• Implement and evaluate machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling.
• Develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to the development of data science pipelines and infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related area.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
• Experience with Pandas and NumPy libraries.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
