Responsibilities
- Maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
- Server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
- Troubleshooting network issues and responding to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
- Acting as the primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
- Meeting SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and being the first line of touch for hardware troubleshooting.
- Performing on-call duties and participating in Data Center operations, including scheduled maintenance and change management.
- Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
- Contributing to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis.
- Assisting in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
