Responsibilities
- Management and leadership of DCEO Engineering Team, executing vision and goals.
- Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure supporting IT operations of Data Centers.
- Managing and developing teams of shift engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise.
- Liaising with internal teams & management groups to coordinate projects and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Participating in strategic planning projects, including design, build, and rollout of new Data Centers.
- Assisting & managing relationships with vendors & contractors.
- Constantly improving processes and procedures, establishing performance benchmarks, and analyzing operational data.
- Assisting in implementing service methodologies like incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
- Participating in recruiting efforts and performance management.
- Conducting financial analysis and contributing to financial decisions, including procurement.
- Ensuring adherence to and exceeding local Health & Safety standards.
- Responsible for asset and inventory management.
- Assisting in the design and build out of new facilities and projects to increase current facility efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of people management and team development experience.
- 5+ years of engineering work managing large-scale services experience.
- Experience in people management and team development.

- Experience maintaining SLAs through the implementation of proactive issue detection and reporting.
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of work in a management position with 5 or more direct reports experience.
- 6+ years of work in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in critical data center operations (feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, AHUs, CRAC units).
- Experience in a management position with 5 or more direct reports.
- Experience working in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation.
