Autoliv is seeking a Customs Intern for a 6-month period in Brasov, Romania. The intern will support the Logistics and Customs team with operational activities and administration, gaining exposure to international processes and customs regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and checking customs documents (commercial invoices, AWB/BL, customs declarations, certificates, licenses).
- Support the processing of declarations in internal systems under supervision.
- Collaborate with customs agents, carriers, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor timelines for goods release and manage shipment status.
- Collect and archive relevant documents.
- Contribute to identifying process improvement opportunities in customs and logistics.
- Comply with quality, health, and safety policies.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or in-progress/completed higher education in logistics, international trade, business administration, law, or related fields.
- Strong interest in customs procedures and international trade.
- Good English knowledge (B1+ level).
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsibility.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
- Availability for office-based work and potential international team collaboration.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems or electronic customs platforms is an advantage.
