As the Country Digital Operations Leader, you will be responsible for the country's digital roadmap and the industrialised deployment of new products and services. You will drive exponential rollout across all countries, provide feedback for improvement, and ensure successful adoption through effective change management and collaboration with global teams. This role requires a strong background in leading complex technology projects, agile methodologies, and a good understanding of retail and eCommerce.
Responsibilities
- Own Country Digital roadmap plan.
- Implement an industrialised product deployment approach for new/changed products and services.
- Drive and ensure exponential rollout of products across all countries.
- Provide feedback and contribute to the refinement of the deployment approach.
- Ensure product rollouts run according to plan.
- Facilitate flow of roadmap feedback from countries to roadmap teams.
- Lead implementation of all digital launches in the countries.
- Ensure proper multifunctional staffing for successful launches.
- Evaluate and report all launches as per defined metrics.
- Provide feedback & recommendations to improve digital toolbox components.
- Ensure rapid adoption of new products across countries.
- Secure that country teams organise for deployment in close collaboration with global deployment support teams.
- Ensure timely implementation of change management activities.
- Drive the adoption of products, including communications, training, and stakeholder management.
- For some countries, manage the country specific product portfolio.
- Work across initiatives within Ingka Group, steering successful digital product deployment that drives IKEA business results.
Requirements
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in leading complex technology projects and managing change in a high-tech digital environment.
- Must have 5-6 Years of coding and hands-on experience in web technologies, scripting and system design.
- Successful track record of managing, planning and launching digital products across multiple sites.
- Proven experience in People and Program Management techniques, tools, project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong experience in planning and delivering complex change initiatives and digital products, with a minimum of 3+ years in a comparable role.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling digital products across multiple markets, including structured release and rollout planning.
- Ability to lead and navigate change in a matrix organisation, working effectively across functions, countries, and stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross functional, agile teams, demonstrating inclusive, values based leadership in line with IKEA ways of working.
- Hands on experience in agile ways of working, including iterative development, key ceremonies, and delivery artefacts.
- Strong capability in change management and digital transformation, ensuring adoption and sustainable business impact.
- Deep understanding of release, deployment, and rollout management, working closely with product, technology, and business partners.
- Good understanding of retail and eCommerce, with the ability to drive business development and reinvention through digital solutions.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with execution, turning ideas and developments into deployed, value creating outcomes.
- Actively seeks new knowledge, challenges existing ways of working, and continuously improves performance.

- Ensure Digital deployments are done with excellence and in coordination with Central Group Digital (Central) and all other country functions.
